UCE and CbyUCE Case Handling

What May Be Reported

• suspected unauthorized upload, impersonation, fraudulent assertion, or UCE mark misuse;
• a competing claim or request to associate correction context with an existing record;
• a security issue or possible signing-key compromise;
• a legal request concerning Site or CbyUCE activity; or
• a material error in the framework, verification display, or public documentation.

How to Submit a Report

Email help@cbyuce.com with the subject line [UCE Case Report]. Identify the relevant record, URL, transaction, or mark use; describe the concern; explain your relationship to the work or record; and provide non-confidential supporting information. Do not email passwords, private keys, credentials, full identity documents, unreleased works, or unnecessary sensitive personal data.

Security reports that could expose third-party data should begin with a non-destructive description and follow the responsible-disclosure guidance. Formal legal process should identify the issuing authority, jurisdiction, matter, requested action, and response deadline.

Assessment and Possible Responses

5 Race Street LLC may request enough information to identify the record and understand the report. Review may consider manifest data, available platform records, public storage references, communications supplied by the parties, security information, and applicable legal obligations. A report does not itself establish that a claim is true.

Depending on the facts and available technical controls, a response may include correcting mutable Site content; clarifying documentation; restricting future UCE mark use; linking or publishing a correction, dispute, or superseding notice; suspending affected credentials or signing activity; preserving relevant records; referring parties to an appropriate platform, registrar, authority, or court; or taking no action when the request cannot be substantiated or is outside scope.

Immutable Records and Corrections

UCE and CbyUCE do not promise that a record stored on Arweave can be erased, edited, or made inaccessible. Historical evidence must not be silently rewritten. When technically and legally appropriate, later context may be recorded through a linked notice or superseding record while preserving the distinction between the original record and the later statement. A correction notice records additional information; it does not decide authorship, ownership, infringement, or legal effect.

Signing-Key Incidents

A credible possible signing-key compromise is treated as a security matter. Available responses may include suspending new signing with the affected key, investigating the relevant time period, preserving verification evidence, identifying a replacement key, and publishing an incident or status notice. Until a provider-independent public-key history and revocation package is published, no broader continuity or revocation capability is claimed.

Reconsideration, Records, and Limits

A person materially affected by an operational response may request reconsideration by replying with new, specific information. Reconsideration is an internal review by 5 Race Street LLC, not an independent appeal or legal adjudication. No guaranteed response time, result, removal, or remedy is promised.

Case communications may be retained as reasonably necessary to assess the report, document actions, protect rights and security, resolve follow-up questions, or comply with law. Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to investigate, respond, protect users or systems, obtain professional advice, or comply with valid legal process.
